According to their website there are only 12 more days to reach the goal of $425,000 by July 6th they have only 12 days to acquire $345,293 I doubt that they are going to to be able to obtain the required funds by the deadline.

They would have me more interested if they used something besides just CIA Paramilitary Operators I would want to be able to play as any elite force Navy SEAL,DELTA,Marine Recon,Green Berrets, and why not the often ignored Air Force Pararescue,Combat Controllers and TAC-P?And SAS,SBS,SASR?If you could play as any SOF this would be much more interesting and I think also attract more people.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...d-branch/posts the shooting looks pretty good what I would like to see is FTFs(Failure to Feed) and other failures these happen from time to time in real life and in combat and it would be nice to see a game implement them effectively and make you use SPORTS.Like I said though they should implement more than just Paramilitary Operators in my opinion just to add scope and depth to the game.I like the fact that there are no unlocks this is nice an SOF member is already the the tip of the spear and gets to choose his weapons in real life.If this game makes it then what I suggest would get modded in still I think they would attract more backers with more units.

I do not think I would be willing to give more than $10 or $15 to be honest at this point unless they get some massive backers they are not going to gather enough money sadly. They need 40,000 people to give $10.00 in order to make the deadline. If we could get half of the subsim members to give $10.00 that would be roughly $369660 that is enough.

What also has me a little curious is why they have not found a large investor this is interesting to me there are people out there with lots of capital you just need convince them.Is there some reason they have not attracted a few large investors?

Eh, you'd be suprised how fast these Kickstarters can grow when they get rolling, I can't remember the specific Kickstarter in which it happened but I remember one getting started and having a pretty lofty goal like this one and getting funded in the first day.

Eh. We will see they are in need of nearly a half million dollars here that is a lot of money at this point I am skeptical I wish they showed when the drive started as this would be a useful way for those on the fence to judge if they should pledge and how much.Has it taken them 1 day to reach $80,000 or 5 days?

We defintely could use a good tactical shooter after all the CoD clones that these big publishers shat out recently.

On paper this looks good so I hope it turns out as good...if it does I'm game.

Well in 24 hours they have only gained about $1,000.A comment I read in the comments section by kickstarter says that it has been up for 18 days that means that it will be up for 30 days one month most of that month is gone and not even $100,000 yet.

I think a factor could easily be that people have heard promises about how good this or that game will be over and over and are just skeptical when they hear any thing come from any game developer anymore. Most gamers have heard such promises such claims before and have been let down to the point where they become skeptical of such claims.

To be honest I have not purchased a game on launch in several years because I do not want to waste my money. The only exception would have been Fallout New Vegas and that was a calculated risk then.

This thing has been around for years, since 2007 I think. Followed it with interest for a long time, but at this point I'm not that confident anymore that it will ever see the light of day.
