Yesterday I went back to SH4, just to have some fun after a weekened in frustration. Man, TMO´s UI, I love it. You know, all stations only a click away, the TDC as hide-able sidebars, the map tools so user friendly, I can even plan an attack in the heart of a convoy and succeed after not having played it in a about 3 years! Not to mention all thos "sub-menus" orders like Sonar follow nearest contact, or max range at current speed... ![]() Cheers |

Can it really match SH4's UI? It is SH4's UI if you elect that UI style. |

Hi Stormrider, ![]() It really sounds like you might have opened JSGME in the wrong place. I have done this a couple of times accidentally. I could not get anything to change in my game even though JSGME seemed to activate the mods. I was opening JSGME in the SH5/data file, ...big problem. TDW's Mod validator is located in: NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith/data/Applications/JSGME mod validator. It's pretty straight forward to use, and it'll tell you which mods are activated and if there are problems with some. If your mods are not working I suggest deleting your JSGME app and reinstalling it in UBISOFT/Silent Hunter5 file. I create my own MODS folder to place the mods and make sure there is only one mods folder. Hope this helps. Good Luck D40 ![]()

Thanks guys it indeed fixed the problem. I guess I´d extracted directly into the MODS folder.
But despite that, the game still feels laggy. I guess its my Macbook Pro´s video card. It´s a good computer but not a very good gaming platform tho. It has only a GeForce GT 330M and it appears that SH5 needs something way stronger. ![]() |

Man, are you serious?
My Macbook Pro is late 2010 with the following specs: Intel Core i7 2.67GHz, 8GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GT 330M which gives an Windows 7 (64bits) rating of 5.9 (Primary Disk) and 6.4 (Gaming Graphics). I must be doing something wrong then! |

Install the shadows lite mod http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=171982 (download lite version)
and move the shadows slider to half on the ingame graphics option . Use Multi sample AA on your card settings . Extract antilag to your main sh5 game folder (dont use the mod enabler) http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=2871 set to [config] RenderAheadLimit=2 FPSlimit=38 |

I think I might have found the problem, which was ignored after first install.
When instalation finishes itself, a system verification dialog window tells me that my graphic driver version, 101.42 doesnt comply with the minimum spec, tho my GeForce drivers were updated at June 15th! This same dialog tells me that the minimum graphic driver is 179.48. Is there anything I can do about? |

Its incredible what this change only has improved the laggy slugish UI that I´ve been experiencing so far! Thanks a lot mate! Now I think I need some help with the mods, what mods to choose and their loading order. |
