I have no idea why it happens but every time I make a quotation like in the picture below, the next paragraph without that large indentation is off and that little "something" with which I can adjust the margin size cannot be moved into its proper position.

Don't mean to be picky, but shouldn't the quote be -
Quote:
Quote:
To me, ladder and brow make more sense than adder and row, but that could be just me. ![]()

but your link made me realize that there is something completely messed up with Word 2003 as I have been having this issue even though I reinstalled it several times. So I'll just straighten it in Word 2007. Quote:
![]() ladder and brow are the words actually...OMG...I was copying from some pdf and during the formating of the text I must have accidentally deleted the first letters. Thanks a lot... But now I'm wondering - how many more of "these" are in my M.A ? ![]() Gotta read it once again... ![]() |

Meh, I can see big gaps here and there so probably only 50 are actually text.
I used to (occasionally) double-check the wife's essays for her degree. As long as it isn't another 5000 words on David's The Death Of Socrates I'll be fine. ![]() I may even learn something. ![]()

Ok, so how it looks like for now:
My supervisor was supposed to check my dissertation for today (she has already read it something like 3-4 times) to give me hints where it still needs polishing etc, as the deadline is set on Friday (the woman responsible for the review is going for...surprise, surprise...a holiday and I had to hurry up with finishing my work) BUT, yesterday, I received an email saying that she wouldn't be able to read it for today and Thursday is the new date. (with Friday still being the deadline). So...a few options here: if she tells me that I can still have that M.A exam in July and the deadline is Friday, I will just read it once again myself bcoz I just can't let you waste your time. If she puts the deadline off, let's say for Monday-Tuesday, and you are still willing to read it, I will send you a PM etc. And the last option, unfortunately the most possible one, that she will say "September", then I don't really know what I will do... I'm waiting for "The Judgment Thursday." |
