Also, spiders. And grass... it grows.

They eat the flies, I like spiders. As long as they don't get in my way with their webs.

But the things are attracted to my desk. Prolly the warm air from the PC. I can't relax with something as big as my hand creeping up the wall 1-2ft from me.

Not talking about them skinny-legged ones. I mean those fat hunting spiders. I've seen them so big I could see the fangs on 'm. I'm just not too excited about anything that won't comfortably fit under a shoe.

Top tip, don't know how it works but it does - place conkers* in the corners of your room and other places that you want protecting (?) from spiders. Obviously you'll now have to wait until autumn to get some but bear it in mind - it really does work.

I'll keep that in mind. Don't mind too much if they keep to themselfs, it's just when they encroach on my personal space that we have a problem.

Had a giant flight of bees take a journey through the garden earlier. Like something out of a film, the noise! Needless to say we evacuated the garden quickly, and luckily they didn't stay for long. They came back going the other way later.

Luckily on both times the wife wasn't here, she can't stand them.

Ireland gets some sun for a change which means a bit of heat.
In typical fashion its the week I am out on an island with no running water.
