Assassin's Creed - Any good?

Locations are very nice, good fun just going through the cities. Plenty of side missions scattered about.

Well, bought the deluxe edition of the second one so I'm just waiting for it to download. I mainly went for it because I'm probably not going to get my annual fix of Italy this year and I might as well take it out on some poor city guards.

Do you play it with a controller at all? I have one around here somewhere I bought for use with Batman but never really used it. I might break it out for this.

I do, tend to use the thing for these sort of games. First time I played through these 2 games I used mouse and keyboard though, can't fault the controls. Think when I give them another go sometime I'll be playing it from the couch, on the TV and using that controller.
