It's possible that the .wav file for the electric subs got corrupted somehow.
Unfortunately, you'd probably have to do a reinstall to correct that. I'd try that. You can backup your log file and scenario folders as well as your dangerouswaters.ini file to save you the hassel of reconfiguring everything and losing your data.
