I don't recall GFWL on F3.
![]() Ha, right you are. My memory seems to have repressed that.

It would be nice to see what happened. Or even a Fallout from the Chinese point of view, as they were no doubt Nuked just as hard as we were. Quote:
(like a mild version of European Denazification laws) Even the movie Die Hard: With a Vengeance, would have been frowned upon if it wasn't made 6 years before the fact. (A film dedicated to terrorists in NY, and a very graphic bombing of a subway train under Wall Street.) I still think its passing on a great setting. Or maybe because it would be a first priority target in a nuke strike, it could still be too heavily irradiated to support life? Then again FO3 was in DC. ![]() ok I went too far, just hypothesizing. ![]()

I would quite like a Fallout game set in Europe as well, it would be interesting.

Don't get me wrong I think NY would be a great setting and I wouldn't be one of the people upset and wanting to lynch Beth for doing it... but for every American like me there is 50 super sensitive ones that would be completely outraged by the very idea of the next fallout game being set in NY. The suits at Beth I'm sure they are aiming for mass appeal and little controversy.
Europe would also be a great setting. I think it is a sort of missing storyline lost in the Fallout lore. China I don't really find as appealing though. |

I was unaware that the autosave was the CTD issue. I have always observed that the game usually has a CTD during a sound processing moment where an area has a LOT of polygons to render at the same time. As far as Legate Lainus is concerned, I took the third option, thanks to my Speech 100. ![]() |

The tough enemies in FONV follow the pattern set in the old day Fallouts in that they are very tough the best bet was to shoot a death claw in the eye(the woman in Sloan mentions a death claw her mother had having been shot in eye that was a throwback to FO1and FO2).
The Death claw is supposed to be the hardest common (there really are not that many either and you can avoid most of them in the game short of the ones in Lonesome Road) the death claws in FO3 where a terrible insult to Fallout lore to frank. @Drewcifer I think all Fallouts will be set in the US there is just something very intriguing about such a huge and powerful nation falling also much of the story and plot line relates to the US government and the Enclave there are many questions about them that remain unanswered but who the Enclave are is a big part of the story line as is their tie in with the US government and the cause of the great war(according to lore it is never fully reviled who started the war China or the US and there is some implication according to the writers that the young Enclave actually started it) Much of the game also focuses on old American military and government experiments which is why every fallout game takes place in a region that has some relation to government projects. I think that something taking place in other parts of the west are likely next locations Colorado was going to have a large role in Fallout Van Buren before it got canceled and this region is alluded to a few times in FONV. Ulysses was from a tribe in Colorado and the Legion dog trainer says that the best dogs come from Dog Town(wasteland name for Denver) Big MT is loosely based on a facility that was in Colorado that would have had an important role in FOVB.Also you have NORAD in Colorado as well. My guess is that the next FO will have some relation to FONV (but be set at an earlier date) and take place in Colorado and perhaps Utah,Arizona, and New Mexico as well lots of possibilities running around in a Fallout universe version of that region.Something else they could run with is the expansion of the NCR set at some point prior to FONV.But I think having to run around in CO,AZ,NM, in particular has much more potential I would like to see the region that had such an effect on Cesar. @soopaman you will not find much on Europe because according to the writers of the first two Fallouts they do not care more or less it is explained that from around 2050 or so the entire world started fighting over the remaining resources Western Europe fought the Middle East and they wound up exchanging a few nukes then when then oil dried up there was no reason to fight all of the remaining nations collapsed so they are just wastelands but with little nuclear war damage in most places. It is implied that China controlled most of Asia and Russia(how they managed to so easily attack Alaska).I do not recall where in the PDF i read but they do clearly state that they have 0 intrest in places outside the US as future FO locations sorry Europe and there is no missing lore it is all minor side story at best. You should take a look at the Fallout Bible if you are a lore nut you will greatly enjoy it. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Bible there is a link on that page to No Mutants allowed there you can D/L a PDF of the entire thing it will answer many questions you might have.
