Good post, but if youre playing RFB, its a little different.Giving RFB a try now days and love it, love the more realistic damage model of the sub, its not a tank.Get hit by a gun shell or a torpedo? You are finished.Depth charges dont cause catastrophic damage though most of the time, like in RL.They pound you until damaged enough parts of your boat that you are in trouble.Flooding is tough to handle and repair times are increased.I also love that enemy ships dont sink so fast.Needs a few tweaks for gameplay(captain scury is working on it) but its a great mod and the escorts are not pushovers as I have found it.Well on submerged attacks.Night Surface attacks can be pulled over more realistically closing in to 2500-3000 yards at night on a convoy as in RL.Give RFB a try sometime, you will enjoy it.
