It's the same on my laptop and I'm pretty happy with it's black bars. Actually I don't mind my periscope being oval but stretched view is also less sharp and not really more spacious.
And IO definitely prefer to give up widescreen resolution and use the MaGUI mod (although you may prefer some other GUI) than losing a better GUI just for more pixels. |
