I just finished installing my new DVD burner. The old one started stuttering, and many cleanings didn't fix it, so I ordered a new one from Amazon for $17.99 and free shipping. It came a few days ago and I found out I didn't know what I was doing, since the new one was SATA and the computer is completely IDE. So I went back online and found a SATA/IDE connecting board for a whopping $0.25 (yep, that's twenty-five cents) plus about three dollars shipping. It came yesterday and today I had the old one out and the new one installed in less than fifteen minutes, and much to my surprise it works! WOOHOO!
