How many points on an infraction to the person who identifies the post as a necro if the perceived offender is new to the community and despite encouragement from Neal to post is unaware of what was posted a year or so before joining the community and or is unaware of how the search function works and or is new to sub simulations?

I'm scoring myself 6.5 points for this one.

On another forum I'm on, There was an old thread about making a pen turning Jig. Somebody asked a "how do I" question at the end of page 1. The top of page 2 had the answer. It was 2 years old. Lately, somebody else commented on the thread, offering up a new revision to the model. A few posts later a new guy answered the question, and then edited to say "oops I was too slow". I lol'd at that.

Ok, I guess I'm going to penalize myself a half point here, not really contributing to the thread.... so 6 points.
