This is minor fix for people who have OHII installed and are using SubFlags_0_0_8_byTheDarkWraith. I just added two sound files on bottom to be brought up on the sh.sdl file. I used the sh.sdl from OHII - Full to add the extra sounds on bottom, I didn't make any other changes or adjustments. This will bring back the missing sound of the flags blowing in the wind, for both the single and double flags.
I am no way taking credit for this, I didn't make the sh.sdl file just added two sounds to be pulled up. All credit goes to the team who made the OHII mod. Thanks Raven,
Couldn't figure out what had happened to the sound of my flag snapping in the breeze! Now it's back. |

I re-upload my personal version of SDL sound file: http://www.mediafire.com/?g4g4tom95aunu24 Since I have this uploaded on mediafire for a friend, you can download this and use the sound files for diesel and electric engines. These sounds are ones I put together from other mods that I liked. Delete the sounds you don't want to use or use them all. It has Stormy's scary creaks. You can just rename the folder from Sam's Sounds to whatever you want, like More Sounds. Just makes sure the SDL mod goes after this one. http://www.mediafire.com/?qlhv5czgs3at043 Oh yeah, there is also Washington Radio tracks from SH4 that I copied over. I don't know if default SH5 adds the channel in options but if you use: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...scher+Rundfunk It will add the Washington Channel in, if I remember correctly. Well here is my what my radio config looks like after Grossdeutscher Rundfunk: silent hunter 5\data\Sound\Radio\radio.in [GENERAL] RadioRealism=Yes StartCh=1 [CHANNEL] Name=Washington Folder=Washington Freq=22 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 0.01 to 1 MusicVolumeOnNews=0.4 [CHANNEL] Name=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1939 Folder=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1939 Freq=44 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 20.01 to 21 MusicVolumeOnNews=20.9 [CHANNEL] Name=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1940 Folder=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1940 Freq=55 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 20.01 to 21 MusicVolumeOnNews=20.9 [CHANNEL] Name=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1941 Folder=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1941 Freq=66 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 20.01 to 21 MusicVolumeOnNews=20.9 [CHANNEL] Name=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1942 Folder=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1942 Freq=77 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 20.01 to 21 MusicVolumeOnNews=20.9 [CHANNEL] Name=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1943 Folder=Grossdeutscher Rundfunk 1943 Freq=88 Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000 ;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 20.01 to 21 MusicVolumeOnNews=20.9 Enjoy! |

Raven,
I've tried two different browsers, Internet Explorer and Mozilla, and in each case I get a notice on Media Fire site saying that, "the page is either invalid or has been withdrawn" for the link you gave; Link for minor fix: http://www.mediafire.com/?9n831fu4nxgwtm0 I miss hearing my flag snapping saltily in the ocean breezes. Would it be possible to check this problem? |
