It been over a years since I played GWX3.0(been playing SH5). As I was playing I was using the deck gun. When aiming I had to go all the way off of the grid to get a hit. I vaguely remember having that problem before. The only mods that I am using are the one that came with GWX3.0 Gold. It a real pain in the buns trying to hit a ship at any range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes have noticed something similar myself though usually only one or two marks out on the finder esp when using zoom
Doesnt happen all the time and is worse the further the gun is traversed on the deck in my experience.
Never had it that bad am off the grid

IIRC had the issue in the stock game too

Other than that have no idea

I just installed SH3 through steam. I have no mods. When I try to install GWX it says I already have mods installed that it will conflict with that I must delete before continuing. Anyone have any ideas?

The GWX installer will, by default, try to install GWX to the folder where your game installation would be if you had installed it from a retail DVD version or download purchased directly from Ubisoft. If you got the game from Steam, the game folder is in your Steam folder... probably Steam\SteapApps\common\Silent Hunter III or something like that, in whatever location it was where you originally installed Steam.

When you run the GWX installer you need to use the Browse button (or Change or whatever it's called) to point it to your actual SH3 game installation or else it will just inspect the default location and not find what it's looking for. It won't find the Steam folder and your Steam version of SH3 automatically.

Not sure if it's been mentioned... Silent Hunter was listed in the book "1001 Video Games To Play Before You Die." Well, with 1001 games to choose from, you're bound to find at least one game of particular note to you... and most games have a half page blurb with no picture.

But not only was there a full page article on SH3 with a large picture, there was a paragraph specifically about GWX and how it was awesome!

Hi guys,
Been playing with GWX for a few days now and i really like it.
I'm having a huge problem though;
Yesterday the game crashed during a mission. i had just saved a few minutes ago so i wasn't that worried and decided this was a good moment to go to bed.
Today however, the game does not show any save games for my career!
I checked the savegame folder in my documents and the files are all there, the game just doesn't see them, the load saved career screen is totally empty...
And i was having such a good patrol

Please, can anybody help me with this?

only mods i have installed are GWX and the GWX widescreen mod.
