Thank you! Keep your Ray Bans up... The sunhalo.tga can be made a bit brighter. You can experiment with it yourself. I must say I prefer the one with that comes the original mod and not the bigger versions.

It won't break anything essential an d cause CTDs, but the problem is that sensors get affected by environmental colors and NYGM's ones have been tweaked for its own environment. So you will probably get more blind AI because this excellent mod is darker than NYGM's original one. However, if you were feeling that you needed to be more invisible at night in NYGM, then the mod will work great for you.

Thanks for the cool water mod! Looks excellent, and the sun looks great too! No FPS hit to worry about. 2 GTX 260 cards in SLI, and she runs at the lowest, 75 FPS, and averages 130 to 160 most of the time.

Thank you for the great looking mod - I'm really enjoying the look of the water and colours in the sunrises and sunsets.

I too though am having problems with a golf ball sun. It's not quite the same as earlier posts though - I do have a "halo" of sorts around the sun (so it's not as golf balley as the earlier screengrab posted with no halo at all), but the halo is very faint, leaving the tiny sun very obvious. I'm using an ATI X1900XT card, with ATI Tray Tools.

I've tried the bigger sun mod, and it makes the halo bigger - but not the actual sun itself.

Is there anything else I can try?

I just installed this mod yesterday and I am getting the golfball sun.

I think I have an nVidia GT250 card but will have to check when I get home.

Quote:
The Sunhalo.tga is indeed the solution for this problem.
So what exactly do I need to do?

Basically, I'm not getting any halo around my sun.

Thanks,
Steve

Don't go over 4x AA and you should have a halo. Worked for me.

AA Setting in the NVidia cards can distort halo. Unfortunately I have an ati card.
@timbob: The sunsize is stored in the scene.dat (EnvSim->EnvSim->Sky->SunRelativeSize[13]. Now they are set to 0.33 you can update it to 0.6 or whatever you like.

Notice to all there is a 20 Km available (see #1). I tried to create a 24Km version but I ran into problems.
