As for the game itself, there are specific points that keep me from playing it, beside the fact that my computer won't run it. The sticking points for me are things like the so-called RPG elements. Having the same conversation over and over and over is not immersive for me. Also there is the fact that after two years There is still no Type II boat and a very limited number of merchant types. I still support the idea that once those problems are solved the game will truly shine, but until they are I will continue to play SH3. Even SH4 hasn't had the development it should. All that said, there are many people who love it as it is, and my dislikes are not theirs and those things don't bother them. The game has seen massive improvements, the DRM is long gone, and if your PC will run it properly it is well worth the tiny price it costs these days.
