I spent an hour or so on U-boat.net the other night looking through the list of sunken and damaged ships I was looking through the list of American vessels it was very interesting they have good amount of data what the cargo was even the names of people on the vessel at the time of sinking/damaging very interesting.

I had heard about the Mayport sinking from my grandmother who was living in Florida at the time that ship was the Gulfamerica she was owned by Gulf Oil and she was on her first voyage and her last.

Another interesting thing is that many of the US merchants where made in Mobile Alabama of the ones I looked at at least and there are a few thousand.

I have been into OM for so long I can t quite recall what I do different targeting wise from TMO but the German TDC is a little different and you have to be much better at telling the AOB as well the US TDC helps a bit with this with the visual icons on the dials.Of course it sounds like you judge that your speed estimation is the problem I would say lower the time between estimations.
