Radio Message Color
I'm using Darkwath's New UI, and wondering about the color of the radio messages.
Gray = Fluff, don't need to pay attention to. Red = Periscope sighted, ship located within 8,000m of sub. Cyan (Light Blue) = Comes from the BDU, but does it signify anything else? Thanks for the info. |

Gray = Fluff - yes or you could call it historical info
![]() Red = These are for you - could be you have been sighted or campaign info that is real. Cyan (Light Blue) = Comes from the BDU - yes. If you reply to these requests - you can be rewarded with convoy info within a radius around your boat. Radius size is set in the options |

So should I send out reports every 2 hours, or just when the Cyan message appear to get convoy info?
I know once I have spotted the convoy, to send a contact report, so that a wolfpack may show. |

![]() Reporting a contact is a good idea as yes other units may get involved ![]() There is a chance that this can give away you possition to the Allies, where they may send a plane or HK group after you ![]() |

There is a cooldown timer on the sending of contact reports. I believe I made it 2 hrs. Sending out reports about your current position could possibly get you a contact report from Bdu. It could also get you unwanted enemies as they could intercept your radio transmission and triangulate your position and close in on you.
