Reading through the threads here and in the Mods Workshop, it looks like a lot of hard work has been put in and a lot of things got fixed, but I think the game was fatally flawed at release.
I still fire up SHIV from time to time....I think I'll stick with that. ![]() |

I like 5 well enough, though it really takes a different direction than the one I want to move in. SH4 is great, but still suffers from the lack of modding that SH3 recieved. I still play 3 the most.

I would say it's a fantastic game if you can put in around 50h reading the forum and another 20h to fiddle around with mods.
That is what I have done the last 2-3 weeks getting in to SHV again after I left it a long time ago. Now after 2-3 weeks Im sitting here still modding but playing a good game still figuring stuff out making it better and better mod by mod. I think I have over 20mods by now. So yes it's a good game just not that accessible unfortunately. Edit: ops it was 49mods xD |
