How did you order the depth? Did you manually order it or use the buttons on the side?

Here is an excerpt of the config file for the Type VIIA, as modified by TheDarkWraith.

Code:
[Properties]
PeriscopeDepth=12;meters 12.5
SnorkelDepth=14.0;10.0;meters 12.5
CrashDepth=152;71;meters - is actualy 70, and will never reach 71, it will dwingle at ~70.5 - fix for updating interface. [Saitan Catalin]
MaxDepth=200;meters
DiveDepth=100;40;meters
SurfaceDepth=4.5;5;meters
TorpLaunchMaxDepth=20;meters
StormConditions=11,0.4;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1]
Hitting the "Dive" button on the left-hand side overrides the default 40 meters to 100 meters. Crash Dive goes to ~150 meters, as patched. If you used the commands, this is probably what happened when you dove too deep.
