Those appear to be the 1/144 scale models, and they are all plastic unless they come with some brass details.

The VIIC/41 is a 1/144 scale made of just plastic, and the U99 is a 1/125th of plastic.
My plan is to make a diramia of U99 dropping off the one survivor of the Baron Blythwood onto the life raft from the Invershannon. If that does not work I will get a U47 model and recreate when U99 and U47 meet up and got target pratice shooting at the Elmbank.

Many years go when I was in the merchant navy I sailed on the Andrew Wir Bank boats...my last trip was on the Cedarbank.

Do you want a toy or a real R/C-modell? Modells are expensive because they need a lot of technical equipment. If you´re able to spend some money this sub could be fitting for you?

A well-constructed static model is not a toy. Yours may float, and it may move, but it's still a toy.
