Because of this it is a FAIL. Should be vice-versa. Optic glass can brake a light to trigger such effect, not a human eye.

Not to100%.Even the human eye is affected by his camera lens from flare, which manifests itself by unintentionally masking aperture and thus provides a possible explanation for why many people find images with lens flare as lifelike. In modern computer graphics image disturbances of this kind are sometimes deliberately into computer-generated ("rendered") images included in order to have them look more realistic. To generate a lot of computer games flare.I think this is a great addition for Sh3....

You probably true it is not 100%. Perhaps you could get this effect having eyelashes in your eyes =] Under normal conditions you can't look directly into the sun during day time. Images with lens flare on photos comes due to very same reason. Light brakes the glass this way.

I assume this idea you braught came from SH5. There are lots of Holywood effects that under normal condition - Human eyes that is, simply can't see.

That's not true, human eyes can perceive only a glare effect, the human eye lens does not produce lens-flares. In this sense, lens-flares in games are absolutly unrealistic if the view represent a bare human eye view

Hi Testpilot,
you can have the effect vissible at your binos view by setting at viewport values 0,1,1,0

(generally, this work to all views not only at binos)
