Hello Dogmeat_81 and Tyton III, welcome aboard
 I think a lot of people don't want to step foot in fora normally, for whatever reason, and by 'forcing' them to say hello they may see how harmless it is and how friendly we are and just come back and ask a question, offer advice, whinge about politicians or even just post a picture of a pretty girl.
