Seriously though, why have i got no fuel??
Im using SH3 commander 2.7 with the malfunctions & saboutage turned on, so maybe thats the answer but it seems a little extreme for a malfunction and ended my patrol before it even began.

so, regarding flakmonkey's question, the answer is........

no fuel is a pretty good way to mess with the War
i've never seen this before , but having M&S switched on has certainly ruined your patrol this time!

Things must be pretty slow when we've got the time to sort out unanswered questions from four years ago.

I do not want to be obnoxious or rude, because that would not be my style, but where TF do people find this s**t?

It seems that we have one clown who is bent on dredging up very old threads for no apparent reason.

Now I don't mean to be rude to you, but you need to reread the forum rules on language, especially as pertains to fake swearing, i.e. asterisks.

My deepest apologies to all, and thank you for that, Steve. I was not aware of that and, in fact, used asterisks because I know young people come here.

Thank you for setting me right on that.

The same one that brings up all the other ancient threads being resurrected by the same guy. I don't know what it is either, but I wish there was some way to prevent it.

Question is though, which is worse..... Starting a new thread to ask a question that has been answered a bazillion times before, or necroing one to ask the same question again. Pretty sure most of us are guilty of both .

But bumping a thread for the sake of a bump is pretty lame though.

Bringing back an old thread to ask the same question is not bad at all, especially if it's accompanied by a note explaining that's what you're doing.

I only object when the poster answers a several-year-old comment as if it was posted five minutes ago, without explanation or apology. Even worse when it's just to make a joke.

I saw in another thread someone was busting on Bernard. No doubt funny-torpedo tube tester, etc- but I must be missing something. Guy just cant catch a break. I like the battery/solar power suggestion.

Unfortunately, Bernard started his "career" with some very unprofessional antics in the control room.

It's been downhill ever since.
