It saddens me that 90% of the people that are playing Modern warfare 3, or are going to play it, know for a fact that it's a rehash more or less of MW2.

And still this game will sell more copies than the bible

My verdict on MW3?

SP: Took me three hours. Shortest of the three games...way to short. Had it's moments of fun action, but still...
Graphics: Somehow, they manage to make the game look even worse than its predecessor, which I suppose is an achievement in itself.
Sounds: God Awful. Apart from some heavily scripted parts of the SP.
MP: God Awful. Just like MW2.
Co-Op: Here is where I'll get my money's worth (as I expected). Tons of fun actually, since you are cooperating with someone, rather than the dreadful business of MP. As said in WTF is MW3: "There isn't really any teamwork, you just let the other guys go ahead so they get shot first..." Had great fun so far, expect to spend quite some time at this mode.

MP really is a joke, just as MW2. The fact that you have to level up just so you can play CTF for example...

I hate it when games do that.

It's the same thing as releasing a game and on release day, they release a DLC.

NO ! release the full game on release, don't make us pay more just because you feel like it

and they wonder why so many games are pirated, I'm not even a little curious about MW3, not one iota of this garbage money grabbing thing they call a game will make me buy it.

Releasing a new version of a game every year is just too damn fast in my opinion, they have been running the same engine now for 3/4 versions, do something new.

And also, MW3 is the only game on steam that's 60 bucks i think

Why? everything always has been 50 bucks for PC, what makes you so special MW3?

Sorry for my little rant here but I'm just so annoyed that this game is selling so much, every year and people still don't know it's the same damn game

Sigh..

Was this mention on the news, store opening at midnight, row of people in front of it.

First of all, it saddens me that MW has come to represent gaming, like WoW. Second, all I could think was "you bleeping morons".

What? My elitist-ness is showing? Oh... *zip* Sorry about that.

Yeah, when I came home yesterday afternoon during the midday break I turned on the news and saw a sad sight of people waiting in front of the shop till it re-opened at midnight to sell MW3.

Really that was just pethatic.

EDIT: just checked the local game store website...they sell that crap for 57 Euros?!?!
and that's just a standard edition!
Compare that to Skyrim (yes I'll staple my testicles to the wall just for mentioning that) the Map edition will sell for 44 Euros.

Ding ding ding ding ding!

You sir won the grand prize!

A trip to the octogon with 1000 pimplefaced, unemployed, neck-bearded MW3 players.

You get a M-16/ ak47 (your choice) with 20 magazines, and get to kill as many "warfare experts" as you can...No time limit, just ask for more ammo, I will buy out my own pocket.

Exactly why I didn't buy it.

People will buy it for the name itself, but after the Treyarch piece of crap rehash called Black Ops, I refuse to give this company my money, even if Infinity Ward splashed their name on it.

I don't care how many jeep commercials they show trying to cross promote...

I refuse to buy a game (10$ more than other new releases) just because they are still living off the fame MW2 gave them.

I miss the old WW2 based CoDs, I was a beast with a m1 Garand.

Nope, Skyrim, Dungeon Siege 2, Rage, and even CoD:Black Ops are all 60 dollars.

Frankly any game company that sets their price to that much is a corrupt game company and not worthy of me buying their games. (Not that I can afford them anyways)
