Good stuff. My special edition has been gathering dust on the shelf. Now to spend a couple of days trying to get all these mods and making them work with each other.

Yee ha, I'll be of to buy a copy in the very near future. As great as SHIII is, it'll be great to deal with some new bugs... Ah, I mean "challenges".

Are there mods to get rid of the ridiculus 'exhausting' method of issuing orders?

Is there some increment of FPS with this change to offline? One of my problems with SH5 was the FPS level with addons...

Seriously I´m thinking about the reinstallation of SH5 (my owned download version).

And - if it´s possible: some help with procedures to increment FPS!!!

Many thanks!

Install the D3D Anti-lag mod and install the lite version of shadows for MO (found in patch). Set shadows slider in game menu to half way point. Should do well for you

For those that want it - SH5 is available from Amazon for 5.99 plus shipping.

MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THROUGH THE SUBSIM PORTAL!

I just ordered mine (so hopefully the site gets a little support) and as soon as its here - I will be digging through the mod thread. Looking forward to it!

This is actually the kind of news that should go on the subsim.com front page with the amazon link - just to drive the sales to the benefit of the site.

Ubi like EA should get out of the computer gaming business altogether with their bogus drm and stick with the kiddie console games.

I agree somewhat. What they really need to do is remove upper and middle management and replace them with competent people

They're LONG overdue for a shake-up...

Steve,

Did you get one of the used ones? I don't know if you will be able to register that since the serial # is already been used. Thats one of the buggers about the game - the DRM killed the "resale" ability of the game. Not sure of course - but that was part of the reason for the DRM anyway.

Many thanks, TDW. I´ll try the antilag. I use it in SH4 for antilag purpouses (no problem with FPS in SH4 TMO RSRDC). What is the most convenient config for antilag in SH5? In SH4 I use 25 FPS max and the default "2" for the frames.

Best regards.
