Default QUESTION ABOUT BATTLE STATIONS COMMAND

Just wondering about the two commands to bring the crew to battle stations.

You can either go down from the conning tower and tell the first officer, and you then get a red bell come up to signify battle stations, or you can click on his icon at the bottom of the screen and order it via there, when you get a different symbol with a figure at the top.

Do they both work the same?

What happens if you do both?

Just a thought!

When you activate battle stations with First officer, his special ability kicks in. Battle stations is actually his skill that boosts the crew. All the statistics can be found in in specialability text file in UPCGE data folder (or something like that, can't check the right names at the moment).

I don't even know if the other command has any effect at all. BUT NEVER EVER activate them at the same time, horrible things will happen.

Right! Glad you mentioned that!

The reason I ask is that it would be nice to be able to order battle stations from the bridge instead of having to climb down the ladder, ask him, then climb back up again if staying on the surface!!

MCCD allows you to issue commands to officers below decks via the Watch Officer on the bridge!

Also TDW's NewUI 6.8.0 includes the officer bar at the bottom that lets you basically do everything from anywhere.

Yes that bar at the bottom was one of the methods I was talking about at the top of this thread.

I was wondering if MCCD could be added to my list below without causing problems, as I have used it for quite some time before, but just started a new campaign with the mods as below-

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
[C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS]

IRAI_0_0_30_ByTheDarkWraith

OPEN HORIZONS II_full v1.4
TDW_Mines_Subnets_Detectable_in_hydro (OH II v1.4)
OHII v1.4 Patch2 Full
OH II Campaign Radio Messages v4
OH II Minefield map
NOZAURIO'S SKIN (Standar No Emblem) v-1.0.0
KZS Hull wetness for U-Boats + co tower and deck_revised_by_TheDarkWraith
SUB - sumarines caustics NSS_Uboat7a NSS_Uboat7bNSS_Uboat7cNSS_Uboat7c41
Dark_Interior_V1
Church's SHV 1.01 Keyboard Commands v1.1
Menu - Das Boot Alarm Theme
Goodbye Pacman

With this set up, there are many crew dialugues missing compared to when i was using MCCD but I dont want to enable it if it is going to cause CTDs etc.
