If they can improve from the previous title, consider me impressed. GTA 4 must be one of my favorite games all the time.
In most games these days I can usually find a few things they have done brilliantly and then gazillions of things that just make me rip the hair out of my head. Many modern games these days...I don't know how to put it, but they are just not fun to play. I recently completed the Broken Sword series from 1 to 3, and found in them something that I don't find in many modern titles anymore: they were simply good, smooth experiences and fun. They were games. Not interactive movies, not B-class novels in graphics, and not pieces of art that make all games obsolete but simple, fun and good games that knew when to begin and when to end. I think that's one of the things that I loved in GTA 4. It just did things right for my liking. The setting, the acting, the story...not any single part of it was a mind blowing "wow!"-experience, but when all of it was combined into a smoothly running package, it became something that I keep going back to again and again. Looking forward to what they'll come up with the next title.

Not even confirmed yet for PC, and if it's a port of the quality of GTA4 even the latest rigs will barely be able to run it properly.

Wonder if it'll just be Los Santos, or the whole San Andreas area again. Speaking of GTA, I need to finish TBOGT and LD

![]() I remember GTA 3 being a horrible port to PC, but never had any problems with 4, and my rig was at least 4 or 5 years old by the time the game was released. Maybe I'm just lucky, not that I'm complaining. ![]()

Maybe. Problem I have with it is that it runs about as good on my current Core2 Quad 3.4GHz, 4GB RAM and GTX460 as it did back then on a Core2 Duo 2.66GHz, 2GB RAM and a 8800GTS 512.
It was playable back then, with the occasional hickup. Problem is that it's still like that; you would think the newer bits would improve things a bit. It runs, sure, but not exactly brilliantly. ![]()

Your lucky, many people had (and still have) problems with Z fighting in GTA 4 & expansions.
