Just what we need, *more* holiday recognition demanded by illegal aliens.

Lulz, don't say that, they will lose all their casinos and tax free reservations.

Sitting Bull ain't getting off the gravy train.

It was the Indian's own fault. They were on our land first.

Good lesson from history: Try not to find yourself caught between an expansionist country and a coast. It does not bode well.

I'd have to find it again. Basically the gist of it is they've found arrow heads in the Delmarva peninsula area that are only found in cultures of prehistoric Europe dating to around 30k years ago. The going theory is they followed seals along the ice then stayed the winter in the DMV area, and might have even set up camps that were destroyed by severe weather changes during that time.

http://www.bayjournal.com/article.cfm?article=2975 is the first article I found.

"Points similar to Clovis were developed about 18,000 years ago by a group known as the Solutreans, who inhabited the Iberian Peninsula—an area that includes Spain, Portugal and southwestern France. In fact, points that pre-date Clovis spearheads found at the Cactus Hill [southern Virginia] site are nearly identical Solutrean points, according to Stanford.

In a hypothesis dubbed the “Solutrean solution,” Stanford and several colleagues suggest that Solutreans used their spears to hunt harp seals and great auks found near their coastal Iberian Peninsula homes. Over time, the anthropologists said, some of the hunters—by design or accident—may have crossed from Europe to North America along an ice bridge that connected the continents during the ice age."

I'm going to collect back rent for my ancestors for the past 18,000 years! D:<
