Is this the same as when crew walk around on deck of surface ship or is that automatic or would you need to add that??

Ducimus made it work for his IXD2 mod, which is why I called him a tease for showing those pictures; but he doesn't mod anymore and hardly comes around these days. I have no idea how he did it, so for the time being we're stuck.

Well, I only see him here a great once-in-a-while, and he has publically stated that SH4 is dead to him and he's not modding anymore, so yeah, that's my impression.
[edit] I just did a quick check, and his last post was eight days ago, and that was in the General Games forum. Everything for a while before that has been in General Topics.

He also got Flak-Monkey's interior to work in SH4 - adapted to a type IX control room - with extra animated crew (including one in the head IIRC).
IXDelta 2 was something else.
