The water in stock/vanilla was a little like tap water I always thought but as Steve correctly staes, use SH3 Commander and in the options section go to gameplay settings and set the water clarity to the maximum allowed (20)....this will take you to approx. 75% of what the stock/vanilla water transparency was.

It goes in the MODS folder, inside the main SH3 folder. It can then be activated with JSGME, which you'll also find inside the main SH3 folder.

![]() The first time you run JSGME, it'll create the 'MODS' folder automatically. Simply place the JSGME.exe in your main SH3 directory and run it. Once that's done, you should click on 'Tasks...' and select 'Generate snapshot of game files.' This often comes in handy down the road in helping to identify changes as a result of enabling and disabling various mods. After that, copy the new mod into the 'Mods' folder and run JSGME again to activate. Last but not least, enjoy the nifty modification! ![]()
