What are the essentials?

Hey all first post on the forums.

I bought SH5 a few days ago and love the game. I am admitedly playing on low realism with this being my first ever subsim, haha.

I am part way through the England Supplies campaign trying to sink 100'000 tonnes i think it is called after just completing the East Coast 50'000 campaign.

On the MODS front are there any MODS that are a MUST have? Some links would be appreciated.

Also as i have never modded a game before some detailed baby step like instructions on how i would do this would be fantastic!

Welcome aboard!

Here's a thread that shows how to install mods.

I'd highly suggest starting with TheDarkWraith's UI 6.8.0 then go from there.

Many many other mods are in the SH5 Mods Workshop and there are plenty of threads suggesting good ones.

Mods need to be installed in order or they don't work right. I dont have many installed but here is my list. They seem to work good. The Trevally Tutorials are great also. They let you play in game as he guides you though on how to use the TDC with the UIs_TDC_6_8_0_ByTheDarkWraith
