Wow I am very impressed about your father having served on a T-class -and sad to here he is no longer with us .
Im a huge fan of the T-class sub, (its actually my favorite WW2 era sub)

If you want to play a 40's T-class you can do so with a copy of SH4 using this mod
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181770

The model used in the above mod isnt very good though - since its one of my very early 3d works, Keltos the modder responsible for the import is now in possession of a revised model I made, although incomplete, he offered to add the finishing touches, but I have no idea how he is progessing with it.

heres how I left it with him

If you have any T-class photography, particuarly the bridge and /or the command room, I d love to see them.

Oh and welcome to subsim!
