Default [WIP]The first new Unit in GR2 format

After a very long time testing? It's about to become a reality.
I have asked The DarkWrath to lend his expertise to this project also.

I feel his knowledge of the external files involved is superior to my own
so they should only be tended to by an expert.

Both of us also work alot in Hex so We should make a very effective Team for this little milestone.
When the final results are to our satisfaction?
TDW will do the release.
I feel that is the best way to end any doubts that many have about the two of us working together to move the whole SH5 Community forwards to a new level.

I also know that certain Dev's are going to be watching this project.

I would like to thank them for MANY little things they did.
Answering questions I asked when they did not have to from the 3D Guys,
and the programmers for Disableing the CRC check amongst many things.
And Dan!!
About to become a Father!!

wow...seems I jumped in the SH5 waters at just the right moment.

I told a good friend of mine, that I bought SH5...he knows I was holding-off since release, so he was pretty excited when he heard that, and asked whether I could keep him updated.

Looks like I'll have plenty of good news for him.
Our origins lie in the flightsim-community (Il2-Sturmovik), but back in the squad-days, we had a seperate SH3-section, with around 6 pilots occasionally becoming a Kaleun hahaha.
I just might be able to get some more peeps interested again.

Good luck with your work on new units, great news indeed!

Whatever past problems We may have had?
I no longer care about them.

I have one goal only and TDW is the best out there that can complete the project in a reasonable time.

He has the hardest part to do infact.
Kind of rude of me to ask him to take on that part but I had only one other choice.

And he didn't want to do that part cause he is an Arse at times.

That other person would be me by the way.

Will be able to fix the problem of the magnetic detonators? This problem TheDarkWraith wrote here:

Now you can probably see why the magnetic detonators don't work in SH5. As the granny way of doing things needs to see a collision happen and by nature magnetic detonators never collide with anything nothing ever happens! The torpedo just sails on underneath the unit
In connection with such a breakthrough would be in addition to adding new models to put in order the available models .

I don't know the answer.
No Torpedo has a collision mesh so it's probably a hard coded thing as far as I know at this time.

I don't look much at how or why the Game works.
I'm only interested in the basics of the GR2 files as concerns adding new Units in a way that keeps us within Legal bounds.
