Oh dear... this is what happens when you let the marketing dept design game packaging, take a look at the SH4 logo displayed on the upcoming Super Collectors edition goodies, shown here on the medal but also proudly displayed on the notebook recognition manual and arm patch...

Oh it may mean that... SH5 will be a modern subsim, which Typhoon class sub is included???
I don't think it means that. It's not only the medal, but the patch, and some of the covers like the rec manual too. SH 42 undoubtedly is meant to refer to 1942.

someone should get onto the marketing guys and get them to change it before it goes into production.

So the yanks jumped ahead with a toaster powered time machine to the 1980s and stole the worlds biggest and most powerful ballistic missile sub from the soviets to use against the japanise??

I guess it could happen

I've sent a pm to Ubi's "Audible Knight" about this hopefully they can catch it before the "ship" goes "down the ways".

All this talk is reminding me of that 70s movie where the Nimitz returns 30 years into the past ('the final countdown'?) and tries to avoid pearl harbour being bombed.

Yeah, thats the movie. Then there was the Japanese anime version, which was the same thing, except it was a JSDF Cruiser that went back in time before the Battle of Midway

Kirk Douglas in it is what made that movie worthwhile. Well, that and the Tomcats being fired on by the Zekes. I remember that movie being used kinda like a recruiting gimmick when I joined the Navy. Radioman recruiter gave me and my buddy program friend tickets.
