And yes the movie was made in the 80s, Kiwi_2005, but it was all taken from a book written in the 70s, by a man who was on real u-boats in the 40s.

In the real U96 aswell.

There was a thread on ubi.com forums, where some guy posted photos aboard the U96 taken by the Buchheim.

Too bad I couldnÂ´t find the thread, those photos were amazing!
