Posted in the Capitol thread, but I figured I'd add here that I felt nothing today. I feel left out.

Hey, I live on the West Coast. I really feel left out.

Considering near where the epicenter was located I blame Generals Lee and Grant. They're probably at it again.

Well, Washington Monument and the National Cathedral got damaged. The former is closed indefinitely as they say, which rather sucks as I had tickets to go up the thing on Saturday morning

And now with Irene heading for the east coast, this weekend may get even more disasterific yet.

All the information is coming from locations from around the center, but nothing I have seen from dead center of the quake.

That's because they are all................dead!

God willing the country will pull through this.

News from the epicenter: A couple of ceiling tiles fell on a couple of heads at the Louisa County High School, which resulted in the entire federal government in Washington, D.C., two hours away, taking the afternoon off to visit the local bars.
