Have you downloaded the new release
This was an error in the beta version.
We fixed by using the dds from Western Approach

Edit: Ah - you could be using the Light version as it has not been updated.
To fix - copy the Western Approach dds and rename it Turning Point [QUOTE]

No sorry, I meant the last page: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...182964&page=54

Kiel Canal isn't included yet, it's going to be a separate download/addon mod. Sober is just finishing it up now I believe

Default Kiel crash

Hi all. I am not sure if this has been addressed but when I start a new campaign, my game CTD everytime I get near Kiel. Any help as I can't get passed first mission. I am using the full version on a new, updated Silent Hunter V install.

Try installing OH light instead, since the full version adds lots of new ships etc in ports. Had the same problem, and after installing light version it stopped CTD'ing.

I just uploaded Trevally the kiel canal and thefeu58 new harbors . Its up to trevally if he wants to include them and reupload a new base mod version . The first version i sent i stuffed up so thats why it has taken a bit longer .

Default Operation Weserübung

I noticed that the two objectives of the Norway Invasion mission say:

Sink_any_enemy_ship_on_route_to_Narvik

and

Sink_any_British_ship_entering_Narvik_teritorial_w aters

I sunk one ship and finished the second objective, but only had 20% of the first objective completed. I went poking around in the Campaign.cfg file and read that the first objective requires sinking five ships en route to Narvik. May I suggest that the mission description be rewritten to accurately reflect what's necessary to accomplish the mission? For example:

Sink_5_enemy_ships_en_route_to_Narvik

Also, I believe it should be "en route" rather than "on route".

Just some food for thought.

Can you not see a gray circle to show where the 5 ships need to be sunk

I can see the circle. The area is well defined. My point is that both written descriptions say sink any ship and it's not clear how many ships need sinking. I guess the intent is to keep sinking ships until the bar fills up. In this case it takes five ships to fill the bar. That information would be nice to know before steaming to norway with a half load of torpedos. because the time given to complete this task is short and there's not enough time to refit in bremen in the middle of the mission.
