The new version 2.8 should be able to deal with this

There is now a resume command where the script can be stopped and started anywhere along the route. it will scan through all pre-set waypoints and head to the nearest one. (beware - this could be behind you. If this happens - just sail forward a small distance and stop start the scrip again. When the nearest waypoint is to your front - all should work well.)

Also if you notice that something is wrong and you are heading for land use stop start to correct the script

The canal is in the same position , only slightly wider and no steep banks on either side .

Here's a video going west from Kiel on the canal. As you can see, many times the Captain got bored and increased TC.

two questions..what is the pilot mod mentioned and where can a humble kaptain find it?

and what is the water in the first pictures? is that a mod or part of some mod set? it is beautiful, looks just like the north sea in the canal.

thank you Sober, that is wonderful work you are doing, very very nice indeed, i will try both the pilot mod and the water .....it is just amazing how realistic it looks...and so much like what is really there.
