Default Old Kaleun Back - Need help

Hello,

Some of you remember me, some don't. I haven't played SH since the third one, about 2 years ago. Marriage makes things more... complicated.

I'm interested in coming back now, playing and modding.

I took a look around the forum and saw many many new mods and supermods for sh5, so I'd have to ask for help from the subsimmers that are here on a daily basis, cos I'm feeling like a blind man in a shootout.

So, what mods are recommended? I'm very interested in the extended campaign (to 45) and the mega-mod from TDW. Are they compatible?

Do we have a mod adding new ships? From what I remember, sh5 had a problem with lack of vessels.

Do we have a decent sound mod? Or sh5 stock is good enough soundwise?

What patch do I need in order to run the mods? Is there a second patch already? Did ubisoft eliminate that stupid need for connection?

Is SH Commander compatible with SH5?

Any other information that I didn't ask and you guys think I should know, please lemme know.

Any list of recommended mods (must-haves) is appreciated.

It's good to see that this community continues to be as dedicated as it was back in the day! Looks like a shiny future for Sh5.

Is Sh5 the last one of it's kind? Did Ubisoft say anything about the series? Are we having a Sh6?

If not, not really an issue. As far as I understand, it's possible to do almost anything with Sh5.

I recommend the mods I use . They are in my signature with links to all of them.

Its not in my mod list but it comes with OHII. The link to OHII base and environment are in my mod list. When you download OHII there is an option to install OHII extra vessels I think it called.

I have one in my sig I use. Also Stormys sound mod is pretty good.

Patch to V1.2, Still need to be connected I think.

Nope. I miss getting the info on what was in the ships Some of the options commander had can be adjusted through TDWs UI dials options file.

Welcome Back.

But sorry, i can't tell you anything about Must haves mods, because i just have to much work with the MaGui Interface, but you should have a look at the following:

There you have a lot of information about existing Mods wich a really important and nice to have.

What i really like to commend Stormfly DBSM Sound Mod. I know good Sounds a very Important for you. SO you should put an eye on it.
