The article is, I agree somewhat negative in SOME areas of it's content, however it's a different slant of the inherent problems facing America right now. And for many years.

Many of the problems facing America right now are the very same problems being faced in other countries. Each country has their own view of the situation. Normally it is the America's fault. Someone needs to be blamed and it might as well be America.

Anyway, the screed about the end of the world is found in Revelations. I'm not sure if it was written by a tea partier.

I was ready to riot today. My cell phone died, and then the power went out for about an hour, and I had no computer either. I thought it was the end of the world. I seriously considered going down to the grocery store and stealing some ice cream.

No tea party member I know would subscribe to the very first point in this article.

We all, regardless of social/political stripe, have a tendancy to believe in "american exceptionalism" which the first point of the article decries as arrogance.

Whoever wrote that article is a troll. As you read it you can just feel the authors desire for it to happen.
