Actually, I just installed GWX and Commander today - I'll miss my good ol' U-47. On her last patrol she sank 10 ships (forget the tonnage, but was relatively low since most targets were small) including another 2 destroyers. I also tried out the TII electric torpedoes and trying some techniques seen here regarding magnetic and impact detonation, depth settings, etc, and did much better with my torpedo shooting, in terms of both hit ratio and efficiency of using fewer torpedoes/target. I also figured out why many of my shots were hitting near the stern - I had forgotten to open the tube doors before shooting.

OnePingOnly - LMAO. A very good friend of mine was a corpsman who served on an Ohio class and he said something about submariners having rather depraved, twisted senses of humor - and he was a stellar example.
