What's up with London? (riots, merged)

I know there was the so called 'winter of discontent' but I dont know enough about that in order to make a valid comment.

That was a big industrial dispute.....
There are many many dozens of industrial disputes in Britain that have been very violent with quite a bit of rioting and burning and looting, but that isn't one of them.

This hooligan looks, how do you say, white, caucasian ???
I thought this was an imigrant uprising
