Other modders had gone down this same path, some left, some realized the error, apologized, and went on to be well respected members here.

But as it certainly touches not only my area of "expertise" but work of mine too, the situation calls for an exception.

I am a very patient guy. I can, do and did endure people using my work without asking permission when they get the credits right. But publishing unfinished work of others is far away from being mature, it´s pure theft! FM_Crew is not released yet, it´s work in progress. And since it´s going for animated crew I´m part of it. So, I should definitely know.

You must accept that your time table is not anybody else´s time table. If a modder decides to not release or to delay, she/he will have good reasons. Accept that!

Whilst modding for GWX, I coded 4hrs/day, average.
Whilst modding for OH, I coded 4hrs/day, average.
Whilst modding for FM_NI, I coded 4hrs/day, average.

Now I´m modding at a slower pace. My decision, isn´t it. Don´t tell me or anybody else the right time to release. To quote KL, "It´s ready when it´s ready!" Releasing immature mods will do no good to anybody.

Besides most of us have a real life and job too. And that´s what comes first. Modding is only a hobby, and this is how it should remain. When the hobby turns into work causing stress, it is no hobby any longer.

Most important it is bad manners to insult others, regardless of age/maturity or gender.

yep, even it was not meant that bad from pdiddy. he overstepped the line...sign on that, dd. modding is a sensitive thing. people spend their lifetime on that. it always takes a lot of energy (i know that by myself, as i also contributed some time intense mods here) and passion to get these things done.

respect is at least what modders can expect!

i also believe that you all need to step back and calm down !

i can confirm that Pditty8811 gave FULL and PROPER credits to all the authors of mods he used. i read his post (before removing) and i can confirm that there was NOTHING wrong with it exept MAYBE the part that he didn't ask permissions from Flakmonkey or DD but that is one other story that has to do ONLY with Flakmonkey or DD ( although i believe that none of them would have said no to permissions).

the Pditty8811 is a little 'pissed off' thats all ! but he is not 'pissed off' without reason . his post with number 4 is more or less all the truth about the cause of this...'attidute'. i don't blame him...,in fact, i believe that he is physiological at his reactions ....you know sometimes it is very hard to know that the only thing you have against a rude person is just....a keyboard !

so , my opinion is to all step back and calm down ! when someone is 'pissed off' you all know very well that is an 'easy target' . it is so easy to 'push' him to the edge (with post like...''this is a warning...'' or ''be warned that...'' ) and make him lose the control and give the impression that the Pditty8811 is a 'bad' guy ! and Pditty8811 was very.... 'pushed' at this thread.BUT Pditty8811 ISN'T A BAD GUY ...i find VERY normal his reactions .

As for the part of 'permissions' this is something that could have been solved QUITLY ,ONLY by the MODERATORS and the involved mods's AUTHORS if they had any problem with Pditty8811 but i am almost sure that none of them would have any problem at all. but even ,in case they had, then the mod would have quitly be 'removed' by moderators and all would have end.

that way is the way for keeping the PEACE at forum and NOT all this ....''sink the Pditty8811'' ....mission !

yep, and maybe we got pditty wrong. maybe he was just using harsh sounding words and we took it as an insult, which was not meant to be one. sometimes written words are not that clear, than spoken ones.

but i am always very satisfied about the general behavior of all sub lovin people here. its a nice little hut, to spend a chillout and talk about subsims and modding. thanks for that again.

I am hoping, this will resove with a happy ending. Wev'e all been chewed out at one time or another pditty, with regards to permission type issues, so please don t take it personally. the main thing is that after all your hard work, you get your mod out there for the communty to enjoy and for you to be proud of. I cant image what SH3 would be like with out these great mods. THis was just a blow up, it happens from time to time and thats all it is.
