Couldn't that backfire on Nissan? If a number (And I realize just how large a number have to switch) of people started doing that wouldn't the power companies just jack up prices to get the books back into the black?

my guess is however is that regular use of this method will bring batter to end life reltively quickly in around 3-5 years( but for example, imagine peugeot considers END of Life for their battery when they reach 80 %)


nevertheless seems clever method, but you dont loose near 50% of energy when you try to store electrical energy into a battery?
