Hate to break the news to you all, as we intended this to be kept below the radar.

In 2006 the citizens of North Virginia seceded from Virginia. We were sick and tired of paying for the rest of the state with our tax monies and getting little in return.

We did not want to make a big deal about it so there were no news stories. In order to save money and to keep the present American flag's design, we also voted to combine North and South Dakota into one state.

Evidently it was a good decision as it seems that no one in the US even noticed.
