It is a very enjoyable game now with mods. You must not have tried it with any mods. Vanilla SH5 is total crap.

But yes, stick some mods in and it will instantly be a better game. But he should already know this!

I also felt like that but after adding most of Stoianm mod list, it works very nicely indeed. Try it
