I think the Swiss have the right idea. By the time you realise you need bunkers, it's usually too late to do anything about it.

Most of Britain's are in private hands now, being run-down and neglected I imagine! A few would make great Cold War tourist places but not many, unfortunately.

Aye, there's a load of the old Observer bunkers littered around the place too, most of them are waterlogged now, others are restored nicely, bit of a pick and mix.
