Help please windows vista error in the program is closed, will not let me start the game, pulled me to the desktop, this super mod installed GWX3 gold, Thank you guys for your time, thanks

Try right clicking the game icon and select "run as administrator" maybe that will help.

Thanks Friend BigRich has not worked, when to start the game throws me to the desktop, thanks for your answer.

Have you tried running in compatibility mode? (Also right click the game icon and select XP option).

If so, when does the game crash? Do you see the loading bar for quite a while before it happens? Please give us more details as it helps a lot.

Thanks guys, sorry for my English, this action you also said the run support xp, does not take long to load the game strip and when full message says, this program will close with a problem, Windows will warn you if a solution.

It sounds like it's an issue with the OS, so I'd check to make sure I'm fully patched (to version 1.4b) and then disable any mods over and above GWX 3.0.

Once they're disabled you can try running it again to see if you get the same error. If so, the next step would be checking system specs to see if it might be a memory or graphic issue before trying a fresh install.

Did you have it working before? If so, are you having issues with any other apps or is it just SH3?

everything is ok in the system, the other games do not give me trouble, I put patch 1.4 version, all set but not working,
Only problem with SH3 (gwx3-gold)

Mi SO: Windows vista home Premium 32 bits, SP2
2Gb memoria ram
Ati radeom HD 3800 serie ( intel pentium D, Cpu 3.00GHz )

2. de- and reinstall your SH3-Stock Game

Step by step information (for XP/VISTA/7) to do this correctly read page 8 to 11 in PDF !

Just looking at your system specs, you shouldn't have any trouble there...

Not sure if it's in the instructions, but if you're going to uninstall you should run a good registry cleaner prior to re-installation.

If you need one, there's a number of good free cleaners available such as this one from Glarysoft:

Also, be sure to remove any SH3 items from your 'My Documents' folder. Good luck!

Your SH3 disk, how old is it?

You may have a Starforce issue....Vista won't work with it.

Does SH3 alone work?

Starforce causes problems with Windows Vista, solved with program manual (clean) install and then begin delete everything related to SH3, thanks for your time and kindness.
