That was it.....I had the US patch and not the Euro one ( I stupidly didnt think about that, but I never saw the euro one anywhere.
Thanks for your help everybody, SH3 can finally take to sea again after all these years......GREAT!!!!!! S! PS I put SH5 back in its box, I didnt like anything about it and Ive been into SH since the first version way back. Cheers
