Default My IXB has holes in the bow

Greetings fellow Kaleuns!

My IXB has developed some holes in the bow section when viewed from the outside. I don't think this has been going on in the past, but the past two patrols I noticed it. There's a hole between the deck and waterline and also in the bow tubes. I can see the sea/whatever is in background through these holes. I was going to post a couple of pics, but can't figure out how to do it

No effect on crew morale or boat performance

Anyway, does anyone know of a fix for this? I'm running GWX Gold and SH3 Commander on a WinXP machine.

Cheers,
Scott

To post screenshots go to www.photobucket.com. There you will find instructions on how to create a free accound and how to upload pictures. Once you have them there you can then copy and paste them here.

As far as the holes go, in real life the limber holes, as they were called, allowed trapped air to escape when the boat was diving. You should be able to see through some of them, though most would give a view of the pressure hull and external piping. I've never seen through them in the game, though SH5 does allow that. I'm not sure what you're seeing, but I'll be curious to see it once you get those pictures up.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not talking about the free flooding holes just below the deck. What I'm seeing is a squarish hole that is tilted at an angle which I can see through from the (for example) left side of the boat to see the sea on the right side it's like a chunk of the structure is missing. Also the same is happening in the area of the bow tubes.

I guess I need a site to post my photos from - don't have one at the moment.

Cheers,
Scott

I'm also having this problem. Perhaps Minecraft hates my computer more than I thought.

Then you should keep your creepers more in order. They don't spawn in the Atlantic.

Unfortunately, it's not the creepers or ghosts of wolves past. (Minecraft messes with my old graphics card.) Nope, experimenting has revealed the cause.

In my case, I can't use Ace's Super Turms. Something disagrees somewhere.

And I am extremely upset...

I beg to differ.

Ah, that may be the problem. I have recently installed Ace's Super Turms.

I'll try my next patrol without them - or is it safe to disable them during mid patrol?

I wouldn't recommend that. In port would be best.
